I wrote this years ago, one late night. This was either before #4 arrived or while we were waiting for her. This is my hope for my children.
The Mother In Me
The mother in me says to her children;
Don’t cross streets without looking both ways
Don’t talk to strangers
Don’t drink and drive
Don’t do drugs.
The mother in me thinks her children;
Should respect all people
Should treat others as they would like to be treated
Should love and cherish life
Should be all they can, because they can be anything.
The mother in me prays her children;
Will never hurt
Will be loved by all
Will never feel lost or alone
Will always know and remember I love them.

Well the last two years have been a little dfrneieft for Easter. 2011 will be my one and only daughters 3rd Easter. So our tradition is we of course wake up and have a yummy Easter breakfast made by me and then we get ready to attend church. We alternate between my daughter's aunts church and her grandparents church. Then after Church we come home and I give her what the Easter bunny brought her and we have lunch. She takes a nap. Then we have some play time outside and then a light dinner and then some mom and daughter time and then bath time then a good Easter book that the bunny brought her and then bed time. I couldn't ask for a better Easter. Actually any all all holidays with her are the best
