The girls, especially Kaelin, made a new friend tonight. Our Korean teacher has a 10 year old student staying with them. Since my husband and boys were on a fishing trip and I had room in the van I invited her to spend some time with us. I had already made plans with my sister to go to a Chinese restaurant for supper...our childhood fave. So, Mary joined us. I just had the three youngest kids, so it was cheap enough we could afford a night out. Not a norm in this house.
Mary is studying here, from Korea. She tried to teach us a little, but I had trouble understanding her Korean. Though her English is very good. Kaelin and her seemed to hit it off. They played soccer, played with our pets and drew on the sidewalk. Here is their great artwork. They actually drew both flags, but I had put my camera away by then.
I think Jaemin did a lot of cleaning up with his bottom. When we were done he looked like artwork on his feet and jeans. :)
Mary is going to come back tomorrow with her homestay mom; our Korean teacher. I told her she was welcome to call us and come over any time. She's SO polite!

According to anecdotal data and also empirical quantitative thinking, punctuation is important.
